This Potting Mix gives you a great start, but you should always plan on adding more organic fertilizer about 1 month after transplanting, or after your seeds grow their 2nd set of leaves. If outdoors, be sure to also use pots with drainage holes to allow for good draining and avoid soggy/muddy soil. Lastly, be sure your plants are getting proper sunlight (follow the instructions on your seed packet or transplant pot packaging)

In our expanding mix we use coconut coir as our main base (great nutrition, great drainage, and provides the structure for your roots). Organic Coconut Coir, because of its high moisture absorbing capacity, is light to ship but also great for absorbing water — it’ll expand 3x to fill your pots when you add water!
